I've heard a lot of people brag about Sand Mountain which is somewhere in Nevada, but I'm not really sure where it is. Planet Sand has a Nevada section on their forum, I'm sure somebody there can tell you where the hot spots for duning are.

Sand Mountain is in Nevada and is awesome [img]images/graemlins/beach.gif[/img]. One of the biggest sand dunes you will ever see... About 25 miles East of Fallon Nevada look for it North of the highway

i havent been to sand mountain . i live in las vegas and i had a blast at dumont dunes it is just across the border going the back way to baker, we go to las vegas dunes it isnt much but you can still have fun besides its in our back yard but here is a few places you can check out:

Fun place is Armagosa Dunes. Its about an hour outside of Vegas.Not the biggest are, but not party central.Most of the time youll have the dunes to your self.

I will be at sand moutain by fallon on memorial day....The biggest fastest quads in the nation will be there....besides this weekend there is not too much bigger weekends in the nation.....aside from glamis on turkey day....I hope to see some of you there... [img]images/graemlins/40BEER.gif[/img]
