rode a yfz450

got to ride a yfz yesterday on the new secret mx i can use now anyway the guy had the baffle out of the pipe and but still had the airbox lid on and didnt rejet. anyway the shocks on this thing are sweet right on level with my elkas. the brakes were insain and i deffinately noticed the lack of weight the thing had balls tourque too tons of grunt. however i still was quite dissapointed with the power, it just didnt seem like it was going anywhere, im not to enthused with these 4 strokes. sure it was quick out of the whole with that grunt and i was probably going alot faster than in felt, but it didnt rip at my arms at all. although it did keep right up with the totaly trick mx raptor with pep shocks and everything else on it that was inpressive...but for me ill still stick with the two strokes

2-stroke fan right there folks....

I heard you see amazing gains from no lid, pipe, filter and rejetting, its like a whole different machine....

Re: rode a yfz450

im sure the lid being off and a rejet would have helped, but it already had the baffle out wich is supposed to do alot my itself...but still i was expecting alittle more..i want to get to ride it agin though so i can thrash it alittle more

Re: rode a yfz450

i think an exhuast would help more than a baffle, i may be wrong...i think you will get more of a "knocked on your ass" feeling...

love how so many poeple replies to this
