will a sport utility keep up

My dad wants to sell his beartracker and get a sport utility so that he can keep up. I'm wondering will a sport utility (like the Yamaha wolverine etc.) be able to keep up or are they low geared also?
Thanks a lot

Re: will a sport utility keep up

i'm not talking about top end because i have never even topped mine out. i'm talking about first second and third gears, are these gears low like a utility or higher like a sport. Like will it be able to climb (dunes for example) in second or third and not be going 10 mph.

thank you though for the info.

the wolv will keep up though the gears w/the warrior up to a certain pt. wont be able to shift as fast but they are fast! for a 350 4x4. and if u want get a 424 unlocker to make it 2x4/4x4!!
