AC Nerf Bars

Are AC Nerf bars good? Will they fit over the side protectors on the GYT-R Belly Skid plate? What other type of Nerfs do you recommend?

Re: AC Nerf Bars

if your going to get AC nerf bars you must get the "pro pegs" which are the best replacing your stock pegs, graydon proline makes awesomeone, pro armor and moose jsut came out with some and DG makes "krome-lite" nerf bars which i have which not only look awesome but work great to, although u keep the stock foot pegs with those

Re: AC Nerf Bars

I have the White Brothers Pro Nerfs. They are made by a company called Extreme Fabrictors. They have integrated foot pegs and aluminum guards to replace the stock plastic pieces on the 400ex. They are really tough. The welds are amazing. I'll try to take a pic and post.

Re: AC Nerf Bars

I like the graydon proline nerfs best. They tuck in better for woods riding, and I think they look the coolest. You'd have to ask them about the skid, but it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for your opinions, does anyone have the DG's on a Raptor, do they work with the GYT-R Skid?

Re: AC Nerf Bars

i have the DGs and they work fine with the GYT-R skid. HOWEVER..the center part in the front and the parts that bolt to the pegs are some kind of crappy mild steel and they rust like crazy. no to the point they are damage dbut it looks like crap and it makes getting them on and off a pain in the rear. personally i have the roll design kickup race pegs now and will be getting graydon nerfs in the near future.
