Raptor tires and sprockets

i was wanting opinions of my fellow riders on getting the ratios and tire sizes, i want to run 22 inch razors on my 2001 raptor " the one with the screwed up gearing" and wich sprocket and C/S should i go with to be able to run second without risk of stalling or bogging out, i race mainly harescrambles in the tight woods of the norht east

Re: Raptor tires and sprockets

I run mostly tight tech desert trail in the winter & woods in the summer..I have been quite satisfied with the gearing, having to shift to 1st in only a very few corners. However I did elect to run a Pro Circuit T4 pipe for the improved low to mid and it seems to have helped a lot in 1st & 2nd gears. You might just try dropping a tooth on the c/s sprocket first to see whether any shorter gearing is even needed.
