Re: john---yzroostinya--answer me!!

get the cheapest brake block off you can get, you dont need no high performance finned ish, thats all bs.

you take the two bolts out of the rear pb cover on the actual caliper(10 or 12mm heads) and then bolt on the block off. no gasket or anything. just make sure there snug and there is no dirt behind it. unhook the cable and get it off the quad. then undo the whole stock lever assembly up front. there will be 2 wire that hook into the stock clutch assembly. this is a safety feature that prevents you from starting the quad without the clutch being pulled in in gear.

hook the two wires together with electrical tape. now you will be able to start the quad in gear without the clutch so remeber to pull in the clutch if its in gear. the cr stlye lever is what everybody uses. its all the same, just depends on the lever bend. no biggie really. you might want to clean and lube your clutch cable at this time. also make sure there is some play in the clutch cable when you put it vback on or your clutch will be "engaged" if its too tight.

here are some pics

well the stock brake asswemblt doesn't work to hot and its just big and annoying. supposedly it makes the brakes wear faster too????

i like mine
