Re: 400 or 300 ex?

Your talking about two whole dirrernt bikes, the 300ex is for a first timmer that whats a bike that will last him a while intill he ready for a faster bike, If you been riding quads for a while know, and what a bike that will keep up w/ your frineds, or other word is "high permerce", i would go w/ the 400ex, faster, and most of all. A great chaise. If i was you, and your not a rookie. Go for the 400ex, it won't let you down.

Re: 400 or 300 ex?

The only thing I can hold against 400ex's is no reverse and the high price tag for a basic machine. 300ex's are really dependable and can be hopped up to where they blow away 400s.. but it's not cheap. You're height and weight aren't too much for a 300ex, but I think you'd have more fun on a 400ex... as long as you dont need to reverse alot. I had a 200x threewheeler for like 7 years and never missed reverse, but now that I got a Raptor, I cant live without it. The decision's up to you, but if it was up to me, I'd go for the 400.
