greasy raptor

does anyone know exactly how many grease points the raptor has?I found 7 of them, but i'm sure there are more.

If you're referring to the zerk fittings, 7 are correct. The other points require disassembly to lubricate, such as the pivot bolt on the front of the swing arm.

IF YOU ARE COUNTING ZERKS ON THE FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION THERE ARE A TOTAL OF 9, THAT I HAVE FOUND. SIX ON THE FRONT AND THERE ARE THREE ON THE REAR. TWO OF WHICH ARE ON THE REAR SHOCK LINKAGE, AND ONE ON THE SWING ARM. ALL ARE RELITIVELY EASY TO ACCESS.

I wonder which model year you have? I have a 2001 and have found only 7 in the year and 1/2 I've had it..six on the front and only one at the rear swing arm pivot. I understand that Yamaha did make some changes back there for 2002 so maybe the fittings are one of them?
