I did it

Well I did it, I bought the Grizz. Had it about a week and already 200 miles. No problems so far. Went with my friend who has the Kawasaki 650, he is faster, but i can still outride him, I lose him over the bumps. I love it. The only bad point is when the differential is locked and in low, turns hard, but thats it. I havent modified anything yet, but knowing me, i will probably tweek it a bit, just for kicks. i am in heaven with this Quad, I cant wait to throw an elk on it to see how it rides with a 800 pound bull on it. Also I live in colorado, around 7,700 ft, and usually ride at elevations of over 9000, and have no problems with that

Re: I did it

You must be a great animal trainer to get a bull elk to ride your ATV! That would make a great video.

Just kidding. Congrats on the new Griz from sea level.

Re: I did it

That hard turning when the differential is locked is normal. All vehicles with full time for wheel drive do that when the front/rear diff is locked. is becausew the turning ratio of the inside wheel is less than the outside so a binding occurs. you might find it does it less on dirt or sand because the inside wheel can slip more (lessening the bind0.

dont sweat it. its good to be able to have that positive 4 wheel drive when you need it. Dont drive like that on pavement tho- it will bind big time.
