does any one know the hores power or top speed of these two quads or which would win in a race or if you road both which is easy to handle. but it is also a all around toy woods mountains river beds dunes and whoops. should i say best bang for the buck. p.s. i like how the lakota has no clutch and a powerband nice for girl not like the raptor im getting. thanks
the 300ex is known for its great handling and mine is awesome. for wut type of racing r u doing is wut i would need to know but it has great traction as well with its ballon stock tires u can get far. it goes around 52mph-55mph now racing u wont need to go that fast but it is a awesome at jumping cause of its great handleing. now the lakota is more of a simple trail riding quad, not something to be put on a race track. although if u did u will not find a good mod or upgrade cause there isnt much. trust me, the 300ex is one hell of a machine and u cant go wrong with hondas realiability. not to mention but the 300ex has many choices for upgrades and is almost always on the listfor mods wether pipes, graphics, filters everything! if u need to know anymore just ask!
i would almost say go for the 400ex....ive heard the 300's are nice...but is she good at riding? if not 300 is the way to go, if she is sorta experienced the 400 is the way to go, much better suspension and power than the 300, and better in like every way...and hold up 300exrider, i know i know, the 300 has reverse...choices choices...
the 300 EX will have plenty power for a beginner or advanced rider, it has pretty good suspention and reverse, the Lakota has more power than the EX, has better suspention than the, has electric start (not sure about reverse) but the Lakota is heavier than the EX, so the 300EX will handle better for a girl ( with less upper body streanght ) than a Lakota
im just askin but do u really think the lakota has better suspension? im just wonderin because some guy that owns a dirt store called strictly dirt said the 300ex had better overall suspension. im just wonderin cause thats wut i always thought. have u ridden a lakota? are the fun at all?
well uh there can be diffences in the shocks and in the suspension geometry its not all about travel...for example the warrior has more travel than the 300ex but the warriors shocks suck intensly where as the 300ex shocks only suck
just because more travel doest mean much, ya go off a hudge a$$ jump and u dont bottom out but the 300ex suspension is so damn soft, it could be (but not in this case) but worse suspension that just plain and simply sucks but really having more travel just means u can go off a hudger jump with out tightening it but u really dont even half to do that. suspension could come tight and just suck, like no offense to blaster riders but that stock suspension sucks. i have ridden on one and i got off with a broken buttcheek.
