400ex vs. 350 banshee

I was thinking about buying a 400ex but I looked around and thought maybe a banshee would ve better. I am about 6' tall and 155 pounds. I have been riding a honda atc 200 for about 4 years and have ridden a polaris trail blazer for about 2 months. Which one would you think is better for me.
thanx

Re: 400ex vs. 350 banshee

First things first, I will have to admit.. I am kind of partial to a good Banshee. A 400EX is a good quad though, my friend has one and he gets along fine with it and does practice at the mx tracks, if you got the right mods it could be a competitive quad. I have seen recently though, that there are a lot more products to spice up a Banshee. Not to start any Honda vs. Yamaha war but I think that you might have an edge with the Banshee if you plan on being competitive with it. It realy depends on if you want to trail ride or race. Banshees sometimes are a little harder on the trails b/c of working the clutch. I would go with the 400 EX for trails and the Banshee if you want to race.

i personally would go with the banshee...but it depends on if you want low end torque and dont always need to be flying...but if you are agressive and think going slow is a waste of time go with the banshee

You never set what kind of riding you plan on doing? If you want speed then the Banshee may be right. If you want handeling then definetly go for th 400EX.

I Will be doing mostly trail riding and hill climbing. I will do some sand maybe and definitely some jumping. I don't want to be having to go fast all the time but sometimes i would like to go fast

Re: 400ex vs. 350 banshee

I would go for the 400EX rather than a Banshee out of the those two choices.. 400EX are much better for trail riding

Re: 400ex vs. 350 banshee

I will probably go with the 400ex. What do you think the top speed for a 400ex is and what is the top speed for a banshee both stock.

Re: 400ex vs. 350 banshee

I think for the 400 ex its around 68mph and for a banshee around 76mph but if i was you i`d think i would go for the 400ex,if i could get another atv i would get a 400ex as well.
