Thinking about buying a Raptor!

I just bought a Blaster 200 for the wife. I have an old dirtbike. I rode her blaster and thought... What FUN! So I think I may buy me a Raptor. Does anybody have any suggestions on 2001 or 2002, which is better/why? Or anything like that? I also own/ride a CBR 600 F4i street bike, so I'm use to torque and speed. (& I love it!)
Thanks.

I also own a couple of street machines, but I've never treated them like I do the Raptor. Pay up your health insurance and hold on. Welcome to the club.

Pickup a 2002 unless you find a really good deal on a 2001. The tranny is a little better in the 2002 although some users still having a few problems with 2002 tranny's.

Don't buy a Raptor, THEY ARE JUNK!!!

Ha Ha just kidding! I would love to own one, it's just that Polaris doesn't make them

From what I've read the gearbox problems have been solved on all late '02s.
