Family Vaction Spots

Where is your favorite family vacation Spot? Somewhere you can spend a week with the family. It needs to be an ATV friendly area and also have other summer activities like fishing, hikeing, bike trails. How about full RV hookups and the ability to ride right out of the campground?

We just made reservations for a week in Colorado at the Early Settler State Park in the Grand Mesa area.

Trackrock Campground in Blairsville, Ga. Near Murphy NC, Tennesse, Brown Mtn NC, and all the spots in north Ga.

They will accomodate even those of us with 35 feet of motorhome and 16 feet of ATV trailer, a dog, a mother-in-law, and four boys and a baby girl. The mother-in-law is there to watch the toddler, otherwise she'd be on her own.

Florence Oregon (they are pretty commercial there though). My favorite is to head 12 miles from where I live and go up on Snow Peak. Sweet hill climbs and woods trails. There are two places by bend, oregon. One is a ATV park in LaPine Oregon called Rosland. The other is the dunes in Christmas Valley (nice remote place to chill).

Lo in Oregon

Re: Family Vaction Spots

This kind of stuff is exactly what we'd like to share more of on SportQuad.com - if you travel this spring/summer, take some pictures and write down some details - we'll work it into an article and share it with everyone! Interested, send me an email at [email protected] No experience necessary, but some minor writing skills would be good. (6th grade English at least please...)
