Quad Advice

I need advice - I am considering rallying in a couple of months - I used to ride a Honda Fourtrax a couple of years ecreationally, but want to start some serious rallying this year (50 miles+ per event). I am considering a Banshee - any help on the quad most suited to this kind of rallying ?

Re: Quad Advice

I think the Banshee will be an excellent choice. Add some wider arms, rear axle, pipes, filter, rejet, twist throttle, and its good to go.

My only thought is fuel range. Do you have to go 50 miles non stop? The stock tank is 3.2 gallons. I think IMS makes a 5.6 gallon tank, to make sure you finish the event. Just a thought.

Re: Quad Advice

A Banshee would be a good one , if you do the mods to the suspention, like cleartoy sais, then you would have to pipe , jet and air box it , if it wasent allready done,or you could get a Raptor widen it, pipe it, jet kit , airbox mod and go, I have both a Banshee and a Raptor , I am going to enter a hairscramble tomorrow, I dont even want on the Banshee , I gave it to my son , I want the Raptor, its that much better

Re: Quad Advice

Explain more detail on the rally? Are you talking a hare Scramble? 8-15 mile laps? One 50 mile circuit?

What kind of terrain? Desert, Woods, High altitude, Mud?
