Who makes the best sport quad for trail riding

First of all I want a quad with reverse. The Yamaha Raptor, Warrior and that new Suzuki Z400 are about my only three options. I talked to a Honda dealer he said that the 2003 400EX was going to have a reverse, has anyone else heard this. I want it mostly for trail riding. I live in Southern Indiana no dunes lots of hills and mud

Re: Who makes the best sport quad for trail riding

I have a 2001 Raptor, it works well on hill climbs, when I get into a real steep hill climb, the float level is all screwed up and floods out, and being short it wants to flip on me, other than that , It works well for trail riding, I had to widen it so it stayes on all four better, I hear the Honda is a better trail bike , but I didnt like the power of the 400EX, I think I would wait for the LTZ400

Re: Who makes the best sport quad for trail riding

Are you (HBK) saying that only the raptor warrior and 400ex have reverse or are they they only ones with reverse that youre interested in? I ask because my 12 year old is looking for a quad and he started liking the sporty ones (versus the utility ones).

I thought they all had reverse.... Is this incorrect?

Re: Who makes the best sport quad for trail riding

the Raptor, Warrior, (250 & 300 EX) are the only SPORTS quads that have reverse, the 2003 suzuki LTZ400 is supposed to have it and from what I hear the 2003 400EX will have reverse to

Ope! Sorry about that, the Kasea doesn't have reverse either, so I guess it won't work.
