Re: warrior probs..help

It certainly sounds like carburetion problems..couple of questions...how long has this been going on and habe you done anything at all to the fuel or airflow system prior to the problem? Without knowing the answer to the latter question, I think I'd pull the carb & strip it down, checking for a possibly loose main jet or incorrect circlip position (#3 is the nominal position) on the jet needle, dirty air filter which would cause a restricted air flow & a rich condition to occur.

Re: warrior probs..help

it just did this yesterday. and i have just cleaned the air filter but i am thinkin about overhauling the carb. i went and bought a new spark plug and it ran fine for about an hour then just died again and it didnt want to start back up. so do u suggest re jettin it and doing a full overhaul on the carb. if i do that is there a kit where i can over jet it so i have more power?

Re: warrior probs..help

sounds like you found the prob. CARB. but I dont think it is the jets , they dont go bad! I would look at the needle and seat , also the float, if there is a piece of dirt in the seat, the needle wont shut off the gas and it will flood out , same thing will happen if the float sinks

I use the DYNOJET kit , it costs more than if you just jet it , but you get a new meatering rod and exact instructions as to which jets to use with your pipe, air filter, engine and altatude, (there is no guess work)
