\'81 atc 250R

Hey folks, I am new to this forum but have been hanging out of the Chevy IFS board for a while now. Anyway, I picked up an 81 atc 250R last night for $200 (pic attached). It has a fresh rebuild, but when engaging the clutch nothing happens. It is stuck in gear. The 3-wheeler has been sitting for 6 months to a year. Is it possible something is bound up? I am pretty sure that I am getting full throw on the clutch cable, but I could be wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look before I pull the tranny cover? Is is possible that the 2 plates could be stuck together and just need a little bit of persuasion.
