Please help

I am in the process of having my frame and other parts either chromed or powder coated. I have no trouble getting any thing off with the exception of the swingarm. My problem is that I do not know how to remove it. The bolt I dont know how to remove is the one in which attaches the entire swingarm assembly to the frame. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Please help

dude get a service manual for it. i think the clymers are the best. the best i can say is get someone on one side with a big wrench and someone on the other side with a big wrench and crank on that mofo until it loosens

Re: Please help

Having pulled the swingarm on a Banshee before, its a one person job. Although 2 can be nice. I assume you have the chain disconnected already. Get a punch and put it in the middle of the bolt that you just took the nut off, and hammer it. Dont F the threads. It should slide out, depending on whether or not anybody has greased the MF.

Reason i took mine out was to install a Cascade chain slider. That was a worthwhile investment.
