Diesel fuel in an atv

Would that like kill the whole motor if deisel fuel was injected in the gas tank?My neighbor asked me to put the gas in her four-wheeler cause the can is usually to filled or she does'nt want to spill it on her four-wheeler.She asked if I can put gas in hers and instead of putting gas in,I put diesel in,so we have to syphon it out,and put a new spark pug in.Any one know how muck a spark would cost for a Honda four-trax125?

Hondas rule,can't argue with that

Diesel fuel is a form of oil so all you have to do is syphon out most of the gas(diesel) and put in the mixed oil that it usualy runs, then go for it , you shouldn't have to change the plug , but if you do it should only be around $2.50 or $3.00 (no harm , no foul)

Re: Diesel fuel in an atv

Hmmm... Well my friend once poured Diesel by mistake into his lawn tractor... He fired it up and said man this thing sounds wierd and smells wierd lol... He ran it for awhile and did what had to do but drained it out... Same problem his dad put it in the gas can, and they didn't have any diesel vehicles so he assumed it was gas.
