The toe nail clipper thing happened to me and my wife last Christmas. We were on our way home from Ohio and the security agent wouldn't let us take two children's silver forks and a silver spoon on the plane. They told us we would have to throw them away, but my wife bitched enough that the brought us a little box to pack them in and checked them in as baggage. Jeez, they were only 4 inches long with rounded ends on the forks!!
