as far as i can tell the shackle is under tension before and after the flip... never is it under compression. i dont see how thats possible unless you dont move your hanger forward and your shackle actually leans toward the rear of the vehicle with weight on it. actually, i think you'd have to move the hanger toward the REAR several inches to put the shackle in a compressed state with weight on the springs. maybe we're thinking of two different things but the ride and load handling should be equivalent before and after a shackle flip.
