swap 258 for 360...HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
Bought a 79 J10 258 with the rod sticking out of the block, Bought a 79 wagoneer with a running 360.
I want to run the J10.............
Now, The J10 has the T-18/Dana 20, the Wagoneer has the TH 400/quadra trac with low.
I have both vehicles gutted and parts laying on the garage floor.
Should I swap the whole 360 combo or try and use the 4 speed and D20 with the 360?
The J10 has locking front hubs versus the wag has no hub locker. Should I swap these as well if I go with the 360 combo?
Wanna do some off-roading and light to moderate crawling.
Last but not least......wanna save some bucks...
