Started last week when the "lil bulldog" just up and quit. And I mean quit at the most inopertune time.On my way home from work.checked all the usale suspect's (fuelfilter, fuelpump,belts,wiring.ect..ect..) Got it home over the weekend cheking it out more turned over fine so I checked for fire nothing.Well sh&t thing maybe igniter or my wost fear ecm AGAIN!!! got an igniter from BB last night and also got my two new ecm's thank's MAX. tried them tonite and still nothing!stared loking around again and found these two wires lay loose wth? Well I found were they go to the plug in the back of the alt. No connection no fire no start! So does any one have a fix and or know were to get a alt plug? I can't get the prongs out ofmine to repair the wires. help!
This might sond stupid, but is your battery dead? If not, try checking the fusible links at the battery, and don't forget to test all the fuses in the fuse box (with the key on).
No battery is good and hot the wires to the alt are broke off at the plug so now I have an open loop the electricity can't flow to were It needs to go so I got fire to the coil pack
In a pinch, you can crimp on a female spade lug and it will fit over the male prong with no problem. Uhhh that really sounds strange... but it works on the alternator!
Yes the sammy plug is the same. Thanks Tim I was wounder'n if that is what I might have to do for now?
