Warn Mutimount using Jumper cables.

I have a 9500i on the mutimount reciever hitch cradle. I have the plug hard-wired into the front bumper of my Cj7. I was considering running the warn cable (>$100) from the battery to the rear, then I remembered someone on the list knew where to get the connectors the MultiMount system uses, cheap and not from Warn.

So, in the interest of cost savings, and versitility, does anyone see a problem with using heavy duty jumper cables (=> size wire as already on the multimount) and putting a multimount connector at the other end? This would allow me to use the system in the rear temporarily, plus on my Ram, or anyone else's vehicle which has a strong hitch.

Also, does anyone know where those connectors are sold?
