Re: detroit locker

If you're refering to the Detroit EZ-lockers as soft lockers, don't bother. I had and EZ-locker installed in my 89 351 FS Bronco and they didn't last three months. Mind you my truck isn't a daily driven truck, only on the weekends and not much. When I spoke to TracTech about the problem I was having with my locker not locking they said the gear teeth were probably worn and to return them for a replacement. I said "Hell No!!!" I would never bother putting the same pos back in my truck. There easy to install but a bitch to remove and I don't want to have to go through this every other years much less every three months. I returned the lockers to 4WheelParts Wholesale and they gave me credit which I used to buy the Superlift Super Runner Steering Kit.

If you go with a locker your probably better off with the Detroit Locker, I hear there much stronger and don't wear out.

Good luck,
