Mile High Jeep Rebuilders carries a kit by a company called 4+ that replaces all the crap in the rods with a moly tube and rod ends, so the linkage is heavier and works smoother. The bell-crank is the same, but all the pivot points work better.

Mine is on order, I'll let you know how it works when I get it in.

Also, if you have a body lift, that could be throwing off the geometry of the linkages.
