Re: Clifford Header

I just installed one on my 258 a month ago. Had alot of trouble getting it sealed. Changed the exaust gasket between the header and the head after about a week, started leaking after 2 days. Took the header off again and checked with a straight edge, and found none of the tubes were square with each other.
So I called Clifford, they told me to bend it myself since thats what they would, or return it and they will do it, plus I have to pay shipping. Very piss poor customer relations. They blame the shipping company.
I called Borla and they gauranteed their header to be true, and no problems.
Ultimately I used the advice of this board and used some Permatex Ultra Copper on my third gasket (and after trying to straighten the header) and so far so good.
Do yourself a favor and buy a BORLA!!!!!!
