Re: Busted Ujoints

As much as I appreciate the existence of 4 wheel drive hardware and Quadratec and places of that caliber I do not appreciate getting screwed on shipping .they charge you double what it costs to ship stuff if you send it back you have paid shipping three times plus a restocking charge.
So that being said it is time to go back to the twentieth century and pick up the PhoneBook, remember those? and find a local driveline place and save yourself some cash ...and boost the local economy .I saved about $ 8.00 on the cost of the yoke and didn't have to pay shipping. If you look in the 4 wheel drive hardware catalog at the yoke that is the Dana part number and you can use it to call around for prices ,that part # has also been posted on this board a few times.Unfortunately I found this out too late to really benifit from it as I had replaced two already but the third one on the front axel is the same .the rear AMC 20 already had the U bolt type, thank the powers that be .

Learn to let go of what does not serve you ,but forces you to serve it
why does everyone ask if I am gonna paint it ?
