Do a search on bleeding the brakes.

Also, try gravity bleeding them, remove the caliper, open the screw, remove the master top, and let it drain out, just don't let it run out of fluid. Move the caliper around to let all the air out. I wouldn't replace the master yet until you've tried everything.
