If you have the T-176 4speed transmission you will not need to replace it the 302 should bolt right up to it. It is a marginal strength case if the 302 is not
beefed up you should not have any problems. If you are need of a new tranny as well might as well replace it with aT-18 at the same time to prevent
having to do it down the road. You'll need motor mounts and headers, Advance adapters sells both for I believe, $149 each. Other than that its a pretty
straight forward swap.
