A close-up of the hinge . It is really a set of collars with a pipe (tig)welded in between to create the piece. It is a "tight" fit and was made out of garage door spring stops and rod. Cheap and strong as heck. The bar is 1" and goes through the bumper top to bottom. I added zerk fittings to the holes the allen screws came out of. I don't see this wearing out for a long time. How many revolutions does a swingout carrier ever really have???? Not enought to warrent bearings in my opinion.
