Re: Transfer case Vaccum lines

The front axle is a Dana 30, with the passenger side vacuum disconnect. Very similar to the one in my 86 XJ. On the Cherokee, there are copper lines that carry the vacuum from the transfer case to a spot close to the front axle. You can use regular vacuum hose for this application. You'll have to figure out which line is for 2wd and which is for 4wd because there is supposed to be vacuum at the shift motor at all times while the engine is running. I think the connection on the transfer case is on the body near the input shaft inlet.

If you need further help, you can email me. Good Luck!
