The stock YJ caster angle is about 8 deg. I don't know what it is for a CJ. If you have a factory manual you can check that, or call an off road shop. In mine it is definately the problem. When I put in the new axle it was very sloppy (0 deg caster) and when I put shims in problem fixed. Since I have lifted it, I need to do so again. Shims should be about $15.00 so if that is the problem, it is a cheap fix, if not, you at least have the right caster angle and now what it isn't [img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif[/img] Hope that helps.
