Thanks for the replies. I am thinking about having the tubes that go straight down to the floor bent forward to fit in the footwell. This would make entry/exit a little easier. It would also solve the problem with the doors hitting. It would render the e-brake useless, but I was planning on modifying that anyway. There is a good custom muffler shop here in San Diego. Would their benders bend structural tubing?

Anyone know of a write-up on using a toyota pull-style e-brake?

I like the way the bar fits close to the dash and windshield(I have a padded dash, but it gets real thin where the hoop fits) so the hoop stays in tight.
