<font face="Comic Sans MS">It sounds to me like a sensor is messing up occasionally causing the engine to run rich which is causing the carbon that is found in the exhaust pipe. [img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif[/img] My best guesses would be the O2 sensor or similar item, but it's weird that it only does it for a short time then goes back to normal.
