Re: NP241 bolted up to a NV4500

See I have the the NP231 with the 21 spline, and to fit this to a dodge NV4500( which you sold me on getting) is going to require a change to a 23 spline. Advanced adapters says that only the 95 NP231 has a differnt input shaft then all other years, and they do not stock that shaft, but they give a part number for the shaft. I have heard that the shaft ( from the dealer) can be expensive. So then my choices are to buy this special shaft, or to get a whole differnt transfercase. By the time I get the shaft, and depending on hard hard it is to install (special tools or anything) and possibly pay for the instalation, it may cost the same amount to buy a differnt tranfer case. If I can find a dodge NP241 that will fit on the dodge NV4500, will this set up be too long, and do they make a tailshaft conversion for it?
Thanks Again
