This is the first time I've ever posted anything so I hope this goes OK. I have a '95 S-10 Blazer 4x4 and I'm afraid the transmission is about to go. It will generally go up to about 3-3.5 rpm, stay there for about 10 seconds before switching gears, and when it does it isn't very smooth. Tonight on the way home it got even worse. It revved all the way up to 4 rpms while going about 40 mph. When I let off the gas it went immediately back down to 2 rpm. Then when I gave it gas again it shot straight up to 4 rpms again with no increase in power. What is even more frustrating is that the original stock tranny that is in there has already been rebuilt over a year ago. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I though they were supposed to last a little longer than that. I know it is a 4L60E automatic transmission and that's about it. Please help! I don't have much money but I need some god practical solutions. If there are any solid transmissions for me to replace it with that are reliable, and really tough then let me know. By the way, does anybody know warranty information on these things? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
