[img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif[/img] Chances are, it went into the oil pan. Usually, those oil drain holes go right to the bargain basement. What you can do is "sound" the hole with a wire to see if in fact that it does go all the way down. You can even attach the core out of a refridgerator-magetic potholder onto the wire and carefully slide it down just in case the bit may have lodged somewhere. Or you can shove the magnet into a piece of vacuum tubing and fish with that. If you determine that it is in the pan, you can also "sweep" the pan through the oil drain hole, with a wire, or a wire hat has a magnet on the end. If that fails, you'll have to drop the pan. If you don't have a pan gasket, you'll have to use silicone.[img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif[/img]
