Question about transbrake Applications in mud racing.

I have a guy running a TH400 transbrake in a 4X4 mud raceing catergory.
He has the TCI 221500 tranbrake valvebody.
This is a multipart question so please bare with me.

#1 What is a the best practice for water/Mud proofong the solenoid that will not interfere with its operation?

#2 Will utilizing the transbrake in this appilication cause issues with buring the rear/reverse band due to the immediate wheel spin upon release of the transbrake?
Should work be done to assist in a quiker release\exhaust of the reverse band to prevent burned band/directs due to the immediate wheel speed in this low traction appilication? If so how can this be accomplished with this style tranbrake.

Thanks,
Rick
