mc2150 tuning

ok so i finally got my carb on and it idles like a dream. but when i drive it it is sluggish and just doesnt seem right.

i know im supposed to adjust the screws at the front of the carb, but i dont know exactly what they are supposed to do, i think they are the high and low speed adjustment? it makes it very hard to tune it not knowing exactly what to do.

so if anyone could explain or has a good writeup id be very happy. also i read you can set your timing very close with a vacuum gauge, where do i hook it to do this and what should i be aiming for?

o an my jeep is a 87 yj with the 4.2 and a nutter bypass, i still am useing the stock distributor. and i dont have any emmisions stuff on it at all.

thanx in advance
