With the high winds we have been having down a bit today and trying to beat a nasty artic cold front heading due south by this weekend, We jumped on the wire harness installation today.
Even though this is a M151, Nate and I chose to use a smaller easy intall A2 Harness.
This harness has less ports to tie into but also has certain ports we can tie into for our CB Radio, Cassette player and power/fog lights soon to be installed.
Here is a picture of a M151A2 12V-24V water tight wire harness.
Due to the aggressive banging of high speed off road, Nate and I decided on a inlay type of rear tail lights vs the Composite Military style for the rear of the M151-LC
These tail lights are flush and tuck inside the rear panel and have a very low chance of bieng broken from a rear end collision.
We did however choose to use the original type Composite lights to fit on the front M151A2 former demil add on drop fenders we welded in place.
The holes are already pesent and the lights are high enough up to not be in to much danger of being broken or torn off.
The original restored M151 Grill is only on the vehicle for looks now, but will soon be coming off to be replaced by a M151A2 grill Nate and I just finished working on.
