Nice design. I think it would be a bit heavy. You could use a hole saw and cut some holes in the lower boards under the overlapping boards. Also over 6' storage starts to get a little rough. Cut in half somewhere and hold together with latches? My wife has a 2000 Pontiac Bonney. I had to modify my steel ramps with 2 x 8 planks of oak I found to extend under front bumper. Just changed front brakes, it is weird to drag out the 2 piece ramps then the bottle jack. That dang car is so low my floor jack will just barely slide under it but I can't move the handle up and down to pump it up. I did make a wooden set for the Jeep. 2 x 4s on their edge, cut angle for ramp surface, sandwiched between 2 x 10s, all thread to hold together. Heavy. I only wrestle tham out when I want the whole Jeep in the air.
