rear brake problems

i thought that i needed new brakes for the rear in my tj, so i went to les schwab abd they just said they needed to be adjusted, they did the adjustment and it was like i had new brakes. almost no travel in the pedal. that was about 3 weeks ago and now it is doing it again. it feels like there is air in the brake lines. also after they adjusted the rearbrakes the e-brake workied again. now i have to yank that thing all the way up as hard as i can and somtimes it still won't hold. i am gonna bleed the brake to check for air but could it also be that atomatic brake adjusters in the rear. should i have them replaced? i heard they were a problem on the 97 tj's. thanks for the input.
