Re: s-10 on a 1/2 ton frame

i got the message, but it got dumped by mistake

what i used, because the engine and add have to move forward, i used advanced adapters S-10 adaptor mounts for the 2WD s. the stock K5 mounts were retained and trimmed about 1/8 " each side. with the engine forward, it places the front end over the tires correctly. the rear diff was moved back, but may have to be moved forward if your using a truck frame. flaming river supplied the steering joints and shaft (i'll dig up numbers) and bee cool keeps the truck cool, used their S-10 swap rad. i used the S master/booster and ran all new lines for the brakes, stops really well. the interior is as stock, all stock gagues work as per factory except for the speedo. even the A/C works. i'm running a mild small block in it. does killer burnouts with the 3:08 gear and the 35's it currently wears.

any questions, just ask.
