Use a regulator, the type where it bypasses the pressure and returns it to the tank.

Carburetors like 5-7psi. Much more than 8psi and it'll usually blow past the seat. Anything less than 3psi and you'll probably run out of fuel in a long WOT condition. Most people turn down their pressure to around 3psi when playing in the woods.

Your TBI prefers 13psi but will run just fine at 10psi. Get down to 8-9 psi and it will run funny.
