I also recommend the Weatherguard. They are tougher than nails. I had a steel one in my 93 and it was STOUT. I've got a Delta aluminum box in my 95, and it's not a bad box, but it doesn't compare to the WG. It was a good value though. I've also seen the WG's available in a Rhino type lining. This is just an opinion, but for a work truck, I've found that having one box along each frame rail is much more convienient than the standard front of the bed single box. Regardless of what you choose, if someone wants your stuff they'll get it.

Also... Take a look at AWS. They make some really nice durable top quality boxes.
