I'm assuming that your idle is "normal"??

btw- just how steep are these angles? .....and (assuming REAL steep since this is the only time I've heard of this happening on an otherwise functional transmission) ....why were you assaulting them with a cold vehicle?? Are you "dispatched" in a real hurry and live in some obscure dwelling located on the far side of a mountain (J/K [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img])

I would think that your worst side effect would be premature u-joint or trans mount failure. This is what I've seen in some passenger cars in the past. I would think, however, that you would be putting more fatique on those parts just wheeling too agressively. If it is, in fact, idling too high ...head to the dealer and have them turn it down with the DRB2 scan tool.
