[img]images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img] The idea that a MIG doesn't penetrate is a myth born of hobby-shop experiences where the guy buys a box store 120V wire welder and all of a sudden he's an expert......until his weld fails and the boat trailer goes into the median. [img]images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] Because of the way they operate, MIGs need more wire movement than stick, and MORE HEAT THAN YOU THINK YOU NEED to get good welds. [img]images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]
