I haven't seen a stock twin stick D20 yet. Check underneath and see if the rear end is offset to the passneger side. If it is, it's a D18 with 2.46 to 1 ratio low gear tcase. Some guys talk about a twin stick D20 but, thay have used the D18 parts. Does this Jeep look like it has been modified or stock? After rereading your message, I'd bet it's a D18 case, and probably has a T90 3 speed. You can find more info on the VIN Numbers on www.earlycj5.com the other board I hang out on.
