Help with 05 KFX 50

Hey all, I need some help with an 05 KFX 50 2-stroke(last year made by suzuki). I have removed all restrictors as instructed on all the fourms but I was told by the head shop tech at Pro-Caliber that there is also a restrictive collar in the CVT. Does any one have any information on how to remove this collar? I know the new KFX 4-strokes have a collar but it is a different manufacturer.
Also any tips on clutch mods. I am not racing this quad but I do have some hills in the yard the kids like to climb. Thanks!
